| Capitol North up for grabs after loss to Columbus | If there was ever an opportunity for the Lakeside Lutheran girls' basketball team to seize control of the Capitol North and get one step closer to its first conference title since 2006, Tuesday's game against Columbus was it.
Somehow, someway, the Lady Warriors came out on the wrong side of a 33-24 score, sending them into a first place tie with Lake Mills and Columbus at the top of the Capitol North.

| Lakeside Takes Round One | No matter what way spectators will view the Lakeside Lutheran and Lake Mills boys' basketball teams' matchup last Friday, Lakeside head coach Jim Bauer will see a "W."
In what was an error and foul-filled game, Lakeside Lutheran came out on top of Lake Mills 54-52 on the road thanks to a suffocating defense and some clutch play in the final few minutes of the game.
